Your wedding day will be one of the most treasured days of your life. It will blow your mind with how incredible it was to experience. Making such a special and emotional commitment to each other is awesome! Seeing so many of your loved ones all together in one place will make your heart explode with sheer joy. You will laugh, cry and dance with your favourite human beings in the world. It will all be over in a flash, and you’ll relish in the memories of that day for years to come.
Why not create a stunning tangible object that you can return to from time to time? Something that you can pull out from the bookshelf that will take you right back to the emotion and excitement of that day every time you turn a page? Design and print your very own love story to share with your family and friends. Create a family heirloom that will be cherished for generations.
After all, some days are worth remembering forever.
I work closely with a wonderful company called Folio Albums based in Yorkshire, UK. It was originally started by a photographer, and is now one of the world leaders in album quality and design. They have a specialist team of skilled artisans creating stunning, hand-bound albums, from only the finest materials available. They are also environmentally conscious and all materials used are sustainable. These albums are expertly crafted to last a lifetime:
The quality of Folio’s fine art printing is everything to them and they’re constantly working to improve consistency and clarity even further. Quite how they achieve such a stunning performance from their high-end printers is a secret I wish I knew!
I do know that their pigment-based inks, of archival quality, go a long way towards helping them get it right. They utilise the latest High Dynamic Range (HDR) products developed by Epson to bring breath-taking sharpness and accuracy to your images.
Great care is taken, too, to optimise their ICC colour profiles. You can trust them to handle the screen-to-print journey of your work. You’ll love the way your album and prints look on the paper, incredibly detailed and amazingly accurate.
The square, in all of its simplicity and harmony, played a central role in Roman architecture and Folio Albums see no reason to unsettle the equilibrium.
All of their albums come in square form to ensure that they can bring balance to your images, whether portrait or landscape.
Sizes available:
12” x 12”, 10” x 10”, 8” x 8”, or 6” x 6”
Personally, I’m a huge fan of the square format. I truly believe it’s the most beautiful and logical way to present a range of stunning imagery from your wedding in a balanced way.
Folio’s matte-finished fine art papers are truly worthy of their place inside their hand-made books. They are chosen to last a lifetime and have an impeccable, sustainable provenance. They offer three types. Art White is their wood-based 200 gsm paper and, by far, their most popular. It is a bright, white paper that reproduces a vivid spectrum of colours to deliver a punch. Alternatively, Art Cotton is a 100% 220 gsm cotton rag with a gentle texture that gives razor-sharp definition but with a warmer hue. Creamier still, is Gallery Cotton which has the same texture and base colour as Art Cotton but weighs in at 310gsm adding extra thickness to each page.
Because their papers are bonded back-to-back, their albums have a page-turn that feels just wonderful; flexible enough but durable for all that handling.
Contemporary Leather. This range includes 18 carefully-selected colours. Each shade has unique attributes but all are genuine natural leather of the finest quality and durability sourced from manufacturers with strict animal welfare policies.

Purity Leather. Our vegan friendly, PU based, leather-like collection is made up of 8 beautiful colours.
Silk. For thousands of years silk has been sourced for its natural quality and beauty. Silk covers are available in a range of vibrant colours that shimmer under the light.
Essential Cotton. Essential Cotton is a range of high quality, 100% cotton colours with a natural open weave.
Pastel and Bold Fabric. Their light and fresh pastels fabric range is a rayon-based material manufactured with the utmost attention to protecting and conserving natural resources. With the same eco-credentials as their Pastel Fabric, the rayon-based Bold Fabric allows you to make a statement.
Heritage Fabric. Their 100% cotton Heritage Fabric includes a range of 4 naturally toned colours.
Click here for swatches. Alternatively, I also have physical swatches of each of the cover types and colours. I can post these out to you as long as you return them, or I can bring them to a meeting in person.
Hand-bound and encased in fine materials, these albums open out flat with an almost invisible crease, so that I can showcase your favourite images across two pages.
They use pigment-based archival inks, so the crease will keep its discreet nature and, unlike silver halide, won’t discolour over time. They also use non-yellowing archival glue to assemble our books. The quality remains the same as the first time it was opened...
I’ll work together with you to design a bespoke layout that works best for your images. First, we’ll make a super tight selection of your very favourite images from the day. Then we’ll asses the narrative and timeline to make sure it flows perfectly. I’ll then produce a few varying design layout mockups for you to check through and query/approve. Once you’re happy, I’ll share the final proofs with you, before sending them off to be printed. Once with Folio, these proofs are checked by 7 different people all along their production process! This assures that quality control is implemented at every stage and any mistakes os misalignments are spotted and rectified.
